EMP offers a variety of valuable events that support the efforts of local educators, including biannual Teacher Professional Development Days, Homeschool Days, and music and literary student competitions such as Write Out of This World.

Summer Professional Development Week: Weaving Multiple Learning Styles for Teacher Confidence and Range

This 30-hour professional development week for grades 5–12 educators will focus on deepening best practices for the integration of arts into STEM education. Participants will engage in hands-on, body-all-in projects—through creative movement, theatre/voice-over skills, sketching, paper engineering, sculpture—designed to actively and intentionally address both yours and your students’ diverse learning styles.
